Unlike several other Picosecond Lasers that can only generate picosecond Pulses, the Quanta Discovery Pico VarioPulse is able to produce four emission modes with adjustable Pulse durations and varable Pico pulse. Physicians can customise the desired effect of the laser from ultrashort pulses for breaking up pigment and scar treatment through to longer pulses for active acne and neocollogenesis.

Discovery Pico VarioPulse OPTIBEAM II Fractional Handpiece

Enhance both skin resurfacing and scar revision with minimal downtime thanks to the cutting-edge fractional handpiece technology

Utilising a fractional handpiece with a high-powered picosecond laser, create zones of laser-induced optical breakdown (LIOB) at Multi-skin level stimulation unlike other lasers on the market which only focus on superficial layers. The surrounding tissue has limited collateral damage in the picosecond domain to ensure firstly a rapid healing, secondly a minimum side effect and thirdly a low incidence of Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH). This both effectively breaks down scar tissue and improves collagen remodelling.

The Discovery Pico VarioPulse generates a pure photoacoustic effect to shatter both inks and pigmentation leaving the surrounding tissue unharmed. NaturaPeel Handpiece

Fixed Handpiece for cream assisted laser peeling

NaturaPeel is a 6mm Round Spot Flat Top Beam Handpiece based on proprietary OptiBeam II Technology specifically designed for carbon-peel treatments.

The Handpiece is equipped with a protective window and a longer tip in order to protect the internal lens from dust particles produced by the carbon-peel treatment.

Unlike traditional carbon-peel treatments NaturaPeel uses an eco-friendly bamboo wood based cream with cosmetic active ingredients for a natural WOW effect.

NaturaPeel Handpiece and Cream can be used Discovery Pico Q-Switched Mode and Pico Mode.

Further Expanding its versatility and Profitably the Discovery Pico can be upgraded with Twain Accessories :

Discovery Pico in particular offers two Twain options; IPL or 2940nm Er:YAG handpiece that can obviously be attached to the front twain connector of the DISCOVERY PICO Series (Not Available with the Discovery Pico Start)*.

TWAIN CONNECTOR

The DISCOVERY PICO series can be equipped with both Twain 2940 and Twain IPL Handpieces through a special Twain Universal Connector* present at the front of the machine.

TWAIN 2940

Twain 2940 is a laser handpiece that fits to the Twain universal connector present on the DISCOVERY PICO platforms*. It has been designed to perform ablation procedures, both fractional and full spot. The Er:YAG laser Twain 2940 nm is able, through the variation of pulse parameters, to remove the layers of skin with minimal thermal damage or produce a higher coagulation suitable for the stimulation of collagen production.
