We were delighted to host another Picosecond Scar Remodeling workshop with renowned dermatologist Dr Celina Chuang. Dr Celina Chuang is an innovative board-certified dermatologist practicing in Taipei, Taiwan. Famously crowned as one the top cosmetic surgery providers and most sought out acne scar and skincare consultants in Taiwan. She was also part of the pioneer group of Discovery Pico that helped develop treatment protocols.
Dr Chuang discussed her clinical experience and expertise on the treatment of Acne Scars predominantly on Asian skin types. The was followed by live-case demonstrations with the award-winning Discovery Pico and the 585 lasers on various acne scar patients.

The Discovery Pico is the Gold Standard in Pico Laser Technology thanks to its three true laser wavelengths Nd:YAG 1064, Nd:YAG 532 and Ruby 694nm, four pulse emission modes and its unique fractional handpiece for multi-level scar treatments.
Several Picosecond Lasers on the market can only generate picosecond Pulses. However, the Discovery Pico Plus is able to produce four emission modes with adjustable Pulse durations. Physicians can now customise the desired effect of the Picosecond laser. From ultrashort pulses for breaking up pigment and scar treatment through to longer pulses for active acne and neocollogenesis.
