DEVICE OVERVIEW

Q-Plus Evo Series is a versatile laser platform that can be customised with 6 different configurations with four active wavelengths to choose from (Nd:YAG 1064/532; Alexandrite 755nm and the world’s fastest Ruby 694nm) and three pulse emission modes. The exclusive combination of Q-Switch and Pulsed modes makes this system exceptionally adaptable for multiple clinical applications. In addition to this great adaptability, the Q-Plus Evo series is based on powerful Q-switched technology that does not run on consumable dye handpieces. Q-Plus Evo Series is the only Q-switch Laser Series on the market with available configuration of 1064nm & 532 nm in both Q-Switched and Long Pulsed Mode.

Q-Switched Source

With the extremely short pulse duration and high peak power, the Q-Switched laser source can efficiently generate a photo-acoustic effect and considerably reduce thermal interaction with surrounding tissue. Consequently, undesired tattoos and pigmentations on the skin can be fragmented into small particles to be naturally removed from the body through phagocytosis.

Pulsed Lasers

The Q PLUS EVO series is the only device that can be configured with additional pulsed sources allowing for the ability to perform hair removal, vascular lesions removal and treatment of aged and pigmented skin.

The Pulsed sources available include:

  • Alexandrite 755 nm
  • Optional 1320 nm *b (only Q Plus Star 1)

TWAIN CONNECTOR

Q-Plus-EVO series can be equipped with Twain 2940 and Twain IPL Handpieces through a special Twain Universal Connector.

TWAIN 2940

Twain 2940 is a laser handpiece that fits to the Twain universal connector present on the Quanta System EVO platforms. It has been designed to perform ablation procedures, both fractional and full spot. The Er:YAG laser Twain 2940 nm is able, through the variation of pulse parameters, to remove the layers of skin with minimal thermal damage or produce a higher coagulation suitable for the stimulation of collagen production.
